Before jumping into design it is important to unearth and get clear on your mission, what makes you different and who you want to connect with. This workbook will serve as a travel planner for your branding journey and as a guide going forward.

This will also be useful as a base for creating content and communicating exactly what you do. For me this stage is integral to designing a strong visual identity and so I ask all clients to complete this before work begins. It means all design going forward can be rooted in a truth and there is a rich pool of influences to draw from.

Hello πŸ‘‹πŸ» I am Harriet. I’m a brand designer specialising in consciously crafted visual identities for businesses in the wellness space. My strength with design is in sensitivity. I use this to deeply understand my clients and it helps me to create work that not only resonates with them, but in doing so connects to their ideal audience on a sensory and emotional level - your visual identity speaks before you do! I help them shift from undefined and not knowing where to begin, to finding their unique expression and equipping them with all the tools they need to progress as the brand they dream of.

I have found there are also definite trends starting to become saturated - like the sea of beige that’s been formed by a lot of luxury holistic brands! I would like to show people how enriched their visual worlds can be whilst still having this sense of calm or awe. Luxury doesn’t always have to mean stark minimalism.

I have over a decade of experience in design where I spent the majority of my time specifically working on luxury brands where there was a great emphasis on storytelling, semiotics and experiential design. I expanded my skills to include website design to ensure the quality of the work from start to finish, bringing the depth, vibrancy, texture and life of projects to screen.

I value personal style and authentic expression – I believe this is the most fulfilling and effective way to cultivate your brand.
